THE GAME EVO TOUR 2.0

Following up on the success of the Fearless Gaming Tour in 2018, the NGE team is back with the highly anticipated and popularly demanded second season – The Game Evo Tour 2.0

What’s the deal?

Just like the 2018 tour, we are embarking a state to state tour which would feature 8 cities. The tour would last for 8 months featuring one state per month, with locations being campuses where gamers can gather and battle themselves in a variety of games which will include FIFA 19, PES 19, Street Fighter V, Tekken 7, Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Dance Central and Call of Duty:Black Ops 4.

The tour would culminate in a grand finale in November 2019 which would take place in Lagos. Qualifiers from the different states would gather in the grand finale along with other kast chance qualifiers to slug it out for the grand prize.

Grand finale qualification formation by game

FIFA 19
This game would be held in all 8 states of the tour and the top 3 placers from each state would be seeded into the final 128 in November.

PES 19
This game would be featured in four of the states in the tour and would have the top 3 placers seeded into the final 64 in November.

Street Fighter V, Tekken 7 , Mortal Kombat 11 and Smash Bros
These games would be added to some of the states on the tour based on the numerical strength of their communities in the states, in which case ONLY THE 1st position would be seeded into the final 32 in November. However the top 2 fighters from local fighting game tournaments would also be seeded. These tournaments include Naija Fighters Connect, The Smash and Batallas De Redencion.

Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4
A COD event would only be held depending on the strength of the shooter community in any of the states and where thus happens, only the FASTEST GUN would be seeded into the final 16 in November.

Dance Central
Would be held in two of the tour states but no one would be seeded. The tournament on the grand finale day would be a free for all.
